| 1. Why
can't some AVI files be imported to the clip list? |
| The
most possible reason is you don't have corresponding
video decoder installed on your machine. You must have
a ACM compatible decoder to do the conversion with our
software, although the video may be playable on your
system, you can't got the video in converting result
since the video is only playable with DirectX. |
| 2. Why
are there the words "This watermark will be removed
after register"? on the top of the video? |
| It just because
you are using a trial version, to remove message, you
need purchase a license code for the software. |
| 3. Why
no audio and frame skipping occured while previewing
MPEG-2 files? |
Preview MPEG-2
files needs a DirectX mpeg-2 decoder filter, you can
install ffdshow then have another try. You can find
ffdshow at

there is a message box tell me to restart the software
after I put the reg code? |
| Our software
needs to restart to validate the registration information,
If you start the software without popup the reg dialog,
you got registered. |
| 5. What's
DivX? |
| You can treate
DivX asthe MP3 for movie. You get the same video quality
as DVD while keep 1/10 of the size. You can play DivX
in your computer or share it in Internet. Some newer
DivX player can now play DivX movie as well. It seems
DivX 5.03 is not as good as 5.02 |
| 6. Does
Easy DVD Maker support D9(double layer) disc? |
| Yes. The
burning engine support D9 if the DVD-Writer support
to burn D9. |
| 7. Could
you import the movie files in encrypted DVD to the project
directly? |
| No. This product is
just a DVD author and burning utility, it has no capability
to rip encrypted DVD title, you needs a DVD ripper to
do that. |
| 8. I
have chosen French as the disc language, why the default
menu title and chapter captions are still in English? |
| Currently,
this setting only affect the menu language selection
while playing on the DVD Player, you need to modify
the default caption to other language manually. |
| 9. Why
the list of burning speed is "Not Available"
even I have a DVD-Writer? |
| The list
of speed is related to both the selected DVD-writer
and inserted media, therefore no speed will be listed
if there is no writable DVD media in the burning device. |
| 10.
What could I do if the burning was failed in the finalizing
process? |
| There is a way to finalize the
failed disc manually. 1)Insert the failed disc to
the Writer; 2) Run PcSetup.exe in the application
installation directory; 3) Right click the device
used to re-finalize the disc; 4) Select the last menuitem
"Unfreeze/Finalize media" to manually finalize
